Participants in the exercise, who showed up in their number, said they attended because of Ghartey’s commitment to constituency development.
The experienced Ghanaian actor, Kofi Adu, popularly known as ‘Agya Koo’, who participated in the event, expressed surprise at the thousands who had crowded into the scene to show solidarity with the Minister of Railways.
The Kumawood star said the numbers that appeared are proof of the massive backing Ghanaians will give the New Patriotic Party (PNP) in December.
Joe Ghartey is already running against NDC candidate Dr. Grace Ayensu Danquah in the upcoming election.
The deputy believes he is no match for Dr. Danquah and adds that he is determined to widen the margin by which the latter lost in 2016.
