Bridget Otoo has responded harshly to journalist Michael Oti-Adjei and blogger Ameyaw Debrah about their divergent views on her controversial “dumb celebrities” comment.
Bridget Otoo was trending on Twitter for describing the celebrities who went to the Ayawaso West Wuoguon constituency to campaign against her famous colleague John Dumelo as dumb.
Oti-Adjei then voiced her opinion that she doesn’t see the logic in Bridget Otoo’s opinion that celebrities need to support other celebrities and have no preferences.
He wrote: “Everyone is free to choose a side and spread it publicly, but the other actors clearly should not do so because their colleague is competing in the particular race. This logic I do not understand. It must have been the reason all the journalists backed Oppong Nkrumah. “

This comment that rubbed Bridget Otoo the wrong way challenged Oti-Adjei to mention her in her comment if she is not a hypocrite. She described the comment as “nonsense” and then tweeted Oti-Adjei in strong words.
First he wrote: Tag me next time and stop this hypocrisy. So absurd. That’s what I said? You can not read?

And then he tweeted: @ OtiAdjei next time tag me! Please, please, you continually smear me in this app and I look away. I won’t take this from you. You are no better than me, not in qualification, education or even in this profession. Please, I’m ready for you. So keep coming back.

That didn’t end there, as Bridget Otoo gave her fair share to blogger Ameyaw Debrah, who said that he (Ameyaw Debrah) wants to rely on her name to drive traffic to her site.
She wrote: “You set me up to be insulted and drive traffic to your website because the #ad from Npp wasn’t enough to generate enough traffic.”
