Luis Suárez’s Italian citizenship test is being investigated by prosecutors amid irregularities, it was announced Tuesday.
The Barcelona forward, who is not being investigated, underwent a citizenship test at the University for Foreigners of Perugia on September 17.

A statement from the Perugia prosecutor’s office said that it appears that information about the test was given to the candidate prior to the exam, while the final result was attributed prior to completion.

The head of the Italian financial police, Selvaggio Sarri, has said that Suárez cannot be charged, while Juve, which prepared the examination before a possible measure, is not being investigated at this time.
