President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has asked the residents of the Central Region to renew their mandate in the December 2020 elections, so that his Government can consolidate the achievements made since he took office in January 2017.

President Akufo-Addo made this appeal on Thursday, November 26, 2020, when he began a 2-day tour of the Central Region, with visits to Budumburam, Awutu Breku, Agona Swedru, Agona Nsaba and Effutu.

According to the President, for the past three years and eleven months, the people of Ghana have had the opportunity to witness first-hand the impact of the policies and programs implemented by their Government.

“If you believe that my administration’s policies have had a positive impact on your lives and you have not regretted voting for me, I will urge you to continue to have faith in me. In the December elections, make it four more years for Nana to do more for you, ”he said.

Having presided over the economic statistics work in recent history, the president wondered what was John Mahama’s motivation for seeking the position of president of the Republic of Ghana.

“I know of someone who is doing a promising spree, that if he came, he would do this and that, but the fact is that he has been in power before, and what did he actually accomplish? Nothing, ”he said.

President Akufo-Addo continued: “We have experienced his administration before, and it did not meet the expectations of the Ghanaians. So he (Mahama) should stop lying to Ghanaians, so that we can continue our development agenda for the country! “

Therefore, he urged residents to vote for the PNP parliamentary candidates in the constituencies he visited, namely Hon Kojo Asemanyi from Gomoa East, Hon. George Andah for Awutu Senya West, Hon. Cynthia Morrison for Agona West, Professor Kwesi Yankah for Agona East and Hon. Alex Markin Effutu, to deliver another decisive victory for the people of Ghana.
