Ghanaian gospel artist and composer, Celestine Donkor
Ghanaian gospel artist and songwriter Celestine Donkor has revealed that she was attacked by armed robbers at her home on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.
Narrating how it all happened in a Facebook post, she said the armed robbers attacked her between 12 midnight and 2:00 a.m.
According to her, she was locked in her room with her husband while the armed robbers entered her children’s room, which frightened one of her daughters, who was beaten after screaming.
“One of my daughters tried to scream, said she saw a man dressed in black with a flashlight in his mouth, the next thing she suddenly felt sleepy and fell. We had to break down our door to get out. Thank God the children are fine and no one was hurt, ”he wrote.
She said that even though no one was injured, the armed robbers managed to escape with their phones, laptops and cash that they had in the house.
“They took all our phones (3 phones: my Samsung s9 +, my machine is gone, iPhones, 2 laptops, a tablet and they took all the cash we had at home, we found the bags and the things they looked for outside. It seems that they came through the balcony, which is very incredible, how they managed to enter our room, took our phones and locked us inside is something that surpasses me. WE ARE WITHOUT PHONE AT HOME AND WITHOUT CASH AT THE MOMENT. “
The musician is appealing to the general public to help him find the stolen items by informing the police if they find any device with his photos.
