The new English Premier League season kicks off this weekend and leading online sports betting company Betway Ghana offers sports betting fans a chance to win one of two new VW Polo Sedans, iPhones, cash , airtime and free bets on their For the Fan Promotion that will award 30,000 players in 30 days.
In 2018, 23-year-old college student Ransford Adika Senanu drove off in a brand new Kia Cerato in a similar promotion run by Betway.
The For the Fans promotion will run from September 12 to October 11, 2020 and will award 1,000 winners each day. Two grand prize winners, one from the North Sector and one from the South Sector, will each drive home in a new VW Polo Sedan.
To enter the sweepstakes and win one of 30,000 prizes, customers simply need to wager GHS 4 or more on any sport. Each bet placed will earn you an additional entry into daily, weekly and jackpot drawings. The winners of the weekly drawing will win an iPhone XS Max.
Speaking at the launch in Accra, Country Manager – Marketing, Kwabena Oppong Nkrumah mentioned that the promotion was created to reward 30,000 of its loyal fans in 30 days. In addition, he highlighted that players will increase their chances of winning one of the VW Polo Shirts by making more bets on football during this period.
“To participate in the promotion and win the grand prize, participants only need to register an account and bet on any soccer game. All eligible Betway players will enter the daily, weekly and grand prize drawings. Each additional bet on soccer made during the promotional period will give the player an additional entry into each of the lucky draws, ”he said. The draw for the winners of the two new VW Polo shirts will take place on October 13, 2020 in Kumasi and on October 20, 2020 in Accra.
