Ghana’s police, military, media and ambulance workers deny essential service providers to vote today ahead of the December 7, 2020 elections.
This is a special voting exercise organized by the Ghana Election Commission for key service providers providing critical service to Ghanaians on 7 December.
Some 109,577 voters of and vote nationwide from some 12 key EC institutions that give the EC the right to vote first.
Voting begins today at 7:00 a.m. M. And it ends around 5:00 p.m. M.
The EC can use backup biometric devices in the event of a breakdown.

Ayawaso Central Electoral Officer for Gladstone Agboada, BBC talk Pidgin says they should get backup devices in case the devices break down.
All special voting centers get backup biometric devices to help make the process more seamless.
Some 1,063 voters participate in the special voting exercise for the ATTC polling station, the central electoral district of Ayawaso.
Officials divide the voting station into A and B, so they say traffic flows smoothly into the voting center.
At 9.35am, BBC officials say they have reached a record 200 votes, as more people queue inside and wait for their turn.
