Francisca Gawugah, known by the stage name Sista Afia, has teamed up with the host of Ghanaians and people from around the world to celebrate their mothers on Mother’s Day today, Sunday May 10, 2020.

The Jeje singer took to social media like her other colleagues to flaunt her young-looking mother in honor of the day set aside to celebrate mothers.

After posting a photo of her mother wearing a blue dress and standing next to what looked like a pool, Sista Afia captioned it: “Happy Mother’s Day to my greatest trophy. MY QUEEN”

The photo, just like the one posted by other celebrities from their mothers, would have generated a lot of reaction if it hadn’t been for the fact that Sista Afia pulled the post just minutes after posting it.

YEN.com.gh can’t say why the Weather singer pulled the post, but before it was removed, we got a screenshot of the post that was captured by an Instagram user.

Some users of social networks, reacting to the publication, indicated that they realized that Sista Afia’s mother had a certain resemblance to Eno Barony.

Before this wish, Sista Afia and rapper Eno Barony have been involved in the war of words as well as rhythms.

The two versatile female artists threw punches at each other with Sista Afia making the first hit with Eno taking the last shot.

Many people have touted Eno’s turn as the best and giving second place to Sista Afia.

YEN.com.gh They previously reported that two contestants on the recently broadcast Date Rush reality show owned by TV3 have spoken for the first time about claims that the show was run onstage.

The duo, Ignatius Baidoo and Portia Freelove, who became overnight stars, indicated that the show was unwritten and that everything that was happening on the show was not coordinated.

Ignacio, for example, said that he had not seen any of the 10 ladies before and that he only looked at them when he was invited to take their turn to get an appointment.
