NDC Deputy Secretary General Peter Otokunor
The Deputy Secretary General of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Otokunor, has warned the people he describes as PNP thugs who plan to cause mayhem during the upcoming elections to drop those thoughts.
He adds that any decision by the hooligans on Election Day will amount to signing their own “death warrant.”
According to Otokunor, the PNP has managed to push some of its ‘special forces’ into the Electoral Commission’s special voting exercise so that they can strike fear in the electorates on December 7, 2020.
He noted that anyone who decides to participate in electoral fraud will be treated as a criminal.
“I have said it, whoever believes that he is going to participate in the special vote to cause chaos on Election Day, then it means that he is signing his death warrant,” the NDC deputy secretary general said in an interview on Neat FM. , Tuesday, December 1, 2020.
He added: “So if you know you are uncredited and you intend to cause trouble, we will beat you up like a criminal.
“You know that you are a vigilante and your name has been entered in the registry, while the genuine officers have been excluded,” Otokunor declared.
Otokunor further alleged that the self-defense groups have not disbanded as portrayed in the media.
