One of Ghana’s best musicians, Shatta Wale, known in real life as Charles Nii Armah Mensah, has fired his former manager, Bullgod, formerly Bulldog, from his Shatta Movement Camp.

Bulldog’s firing came weeks after agents from the Ghana Police Service’s Criminal Investigations Department arrested him for allegedly threatening the life of President Akufo-Addo on a live television show.

Bulldog, whose real name is Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, has since been replaced by Nana Kojo Owusu Koranteng, who is less known in the entertainment industry.

“The management of SHATTA MOVEMENT RECORDS wishes to inform the general public that from this day, January 26, 2021 onwards, Mr. Nana Kojo Owusu Koranteng (Nana Dope) will be responsible for the dissemination of information about our artist Mr. Charles Nii Armah Mensah (SHATTA WALE) and the Shatta movement for the general public ”, reads part of the press release that was signed by Shatta Wale himself.

It is not yet known what may have led to the Shatta Movement records decision to remove Bulldog from SM team.

However, social media users who shared their views on the press release believe that Bullgod’s open involvement in politics of late is what informed the decision to remove him from SM’s camp.
