The NDC said the results of the current government model over the past four years, at the micro level, were hardship, a rising cost of living, high unemployment, massive job losses and a generally tough economic climate.

“The long-suffering Ghana Cedi will stabilize and strengthen. The private sector will receive the largest employment-related stimulus package in Ghana’s history. The financial sector will be cleaned up and emphasis will be placed on Ghana’s growing participation in the economy.

“We will immediately put an end to vindictive targets and the collapse of Ghana’s indigenous businesses and the resulting loss of jobs. Job creation will be the overriding concern of the next NDC government as a way to improve the livelihoods of our people, under the One Million Jobs Plan, EDWUMA PA ”.

The NDC explained that there would be a significant annual recruitment of young Ghanaians in an expanded and productive public sector based on a carefully conducted human resource gap analysis.

In addition, “we will launch a National Apprenticeship Program that will train technically qualified human resources for rapid industrialization, job creation and entrepreneurship. The NDC noted that it is seeking a comeback to prepare Ghana to deal with current global changes, and “we are ready to lead the country in opening new horizons, instilling a new sense of purpose in our people, catching up with what we have missed taking steps to enhance our growth.

“The next NDC government is ready to build a knowledge-based economy to bring the country more quickly into the new world of smart manufacturing and digital services; “This will not only generate growth, but also prosperity for all Ghanaians.
