Dancehall artist, Shatta Wale
Dancehall artist Shatta Wale invited the audience to a spectacular performance at the 2020 Ghana DJ Awards held on Saturday, November 21 in Accra.
The atmosphere charged as the crowd sang back-to-back hits performed by the dancehall artist.
At the end of his performance, Shatta paused to advise interested parties to rally their support behind the Ghanaian DJs.
This, according to him, is because the disc jockeys of Ghana have contributed enormously to the development of talents in the country.
“I just want to thank all the DJs in Ghana. They have contributed a lot to our success. Ghanaian artists are starting to make connections with the country’s DJs and it’s a good sign. Let’s work hard so that we can carry the map of Ghana very high, ”he said.
Launched in 2012, the Ghana DJ Awards seek to reward and celebrate Disc Jockeys from radio, events, artists, videos, mobile devices and clubs who have excelled in their potential fields.
The awards ceremony, which was hosted by Ghanaian DJ and radio host Andy Dosty, saw performances by Shatta Wale, DopeNation, Bosom P-Yung, Teflon Flexx, Kuami Eugene, Wendy Shay and others.
