Talal Fattal Receives His Award and Induction Certificate from GIPC CEO Yofi Grant at the 2019 Inaugural Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame Awards
The Business Executive Limited to Incorporate Second Group of Senior Executives from its iconic Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame; a prestigious association of premier board chairs in several thriving business sectors across the country.
The Hall of Fame provides a forum for members to individually and collectively contribute to the growth of Ghanaian businesses by sharing their knowledge and experience with their successors, trade associations such as PEF, Ghana Association of Industries (AGI), Chamber of Commerce and Ghana Industry (GNCCI), and public policy makers and implementers.
The Association that is currently chaired by GIPC’s Kwasi Abeasi exists to recognize and celebrate the professional achievements of some prominent and highly experienced members of the corporate community.
The first edition and the launch of the Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame saw the official induction of some accomplished veteran corporate titans, including; Mr. Abeasi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of GIPC, Talal Fattal, CEO of Caesar’s Court and former CEO of Metro TV.
Others are Dr. Felix Anyah, CEO of Holy Trinity Medical Center, Roman Krabel, CEO of Accra City Hotel, Aheto Abiola Tsegah, President of Unicom Chemist, Bernard M. Joseph, CEO of Sunshine Healthcare Limited, among others.
Currently, the Association is embarking on promoting public policy, corporate governance and strategy, development of management skills (webinar), advantage of business networks, corporate social responsibility, association with other organizations, opportunity for business support and mentoring.
The second edition opens to receive more prominent figures, such as SK Boafo Of Minerals Commission, Alex Kwaku Korankye of Middlebelt, Kwabena Obeng of Watch And Dine Rev. Ismaila Hansmittson Awudu of the National Road Safety Commission and Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong by Special Ice.
Others are Hayssam Fakhry from Interplast Ghana, Professor Christopher Ameyaw Akumfi from the Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund, Mukesh V. Thakwani from B5 Plus, Kwaku Awortwi from Volta River Authority and Daniel Mckorley from Mcdan Shipping.
Also included are Michael Gyapah from G4s Security, Robert Kutin from Allship / Maritime Authority, Stephen Ayesu Ntim from the Land Commission, Frank Herbert Davis from DVLA, and Dr. Gladys Narley Ashitey from the National Population Council.
The theme of the October 30 event is; ‘Linking the Ghana Business Community to Ghana Beyond Aid.
The ceremony will be graced by Joseph Osei Owusu- 1S t Vice President of Parliament; Arekzi Mezhaud, Secretary General of the Organization of African Trade Union Unity and Ammishaddai Owusu Ansah, Commissioner General of the Ghana Tax Authority (GRA).
