While the Happy Day song can generally be described as a track to praise God, the versatile rapper was able to infuse political messages into it by endorsing Akufo-Addo.

After talking about his life and praising God for his life, Sarkodie added some problems he had with the Democratic National Congress (NDC), which criticized him for releasing songs to attack the John Mahama government.

By mentioning the Dumsor and Inflation songs he did at the time, Sarkodie fast-forward to Akufo-Addo’s time and pointed to stable electricity and Free Senior High School.

He then proceeded to urge Akufo-Addo to continue ruling by saying ‘Nana Toaso’, which literally translates to ‘carry on, Nana’.

At the end of the song, Sarkodie craftily intervenes in the battle remains the Lord’s, which has been a longtime catchphrase for AKufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) since he first prevailed for the presidency in 2008.
