Ghana and Salitas FC defender Nartey Polo fired a warning shot at AshantiGold SC ahead of the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup.

AshantiGold SC drew 0-0 at Obuasi Len Clay Stadium on Sunday against Salitas FC of Burkina Faso.

According to Polo, they are ready to do whatever it takes to beat the miners and move on to the next stage of the competition.

“I can say boldly and without hesitation that we will not forgive Ashgold in Burkina Faso when they return for the second leg of the Confederation Cup preliminaries,” Polo told Kumasi-based Pure FM.

“We will do everything we can to make sure we eliminate Ashantigold and they were up in the first leg because we only got to Obuasi for hours to start and that affected us during the match,” he added.

The former New Edubiase player then made a savage accusation claiming that the miners threw ‘Black Magic’ (Juju) at one of the goal posts, but that didn’t work because the magic couldn’t cross the finish line.

“Ashantigold SC used Juju in our meeting but it did not work because we also came very prepared and even his Juju could not enter our position and that should tell you why it ended up working in his favor,” he alleged.

The return leg is set for this weekend in Burkina Faso.

Nartey Polo was part of the Edubiase squad that won the MTN FA Cup.
