World Rugby announced today that all nine qualified teams have confirmed that they will benefit from the exclusive 2021 Rugby World Cup Coaches Internship Program with six coaches already identified to participate.

The transformation program will create quality deployment opportunities for aspiring elite coaches in high-performance environments, with selected participants who will be fully integrated for 12 months into the RWC 2021 national squad management teams.

The announcement comes as the 2021 Rugby World Cup draws one year to the end of the women’s flagship tournament that begins on September 18, 2021.   • Australia– Inge Visser: Former Dutch international aged 15 and 7, head coach of the University of New England

Fiji, New Zealand and Wales will confirm participating coaches at a later stage this year and the remaining three teams that will qualify for the 2021 Rugby World Cup will also have the opportunity to identify female coaches to participate in the innovative program.
