Pierluigi Gollini is the first goalkeeper to save a Cristiano Ronaldo penalty since Stefano Sorrentino de Chievo in January 2019
Cristiano Ronaldo was saved from a penalty when Juventus drew for the sixth time in 12 Serie A games, this time against Atalanta.
Federico Chiesa put the champion ahead with a good shot from outside the area, his first league goal for Juve.
Remo Freuler tied for Atalanta from the middle of the table with a nice 25-yard strike from the bottom of the bar.
Ronaldo had a chance to win the game after Chiesa was fouled, but Pierluigi Gollini hit home to save his shot.
Former Aston Villa goalkeeper Gollini played an excellent game and rejected Álvaro Morata with a good save.
Juve, who have won the last nine titles, are undefeated after 12 league games with Andrea Pirlo, although half of them have been draws.
They are third in the table, three points behind leader AC Milan before the other mid-week matches.
