Cristiano Ronaldo is the top scorer in Serie A with 19 goals this season
Juventus tied with Verona in the middle of the table and are now seven points behind Serie A leaders Inter Milan.
Andrea Pirlo’s team led when Cristiano Ronaldo scored home with a goal for the first time off a pass from Federico Chiesa, his 19th league goal of the season.
But Juve was poor and Verona tied with a header from Antonin Barak after a Darko Lazovic cross.
The defending Italian champions held out at the end and Wojciech Szczesny denied Lazovic a winner.
Inter will be 10 points away from Juve, who have won the last nine titles, if they beat Genoa on Sunday.
