Pedri hasn’t been at Barcelona for long but it seems that the 17-year-old has already convinced Ronald Koeman of his qualities.
The teenager received the first-team number and made his La Liga debut against Villarreal on Sunday, entering as a late substitute for Philippe Coutinho.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Koeman is a great admirer of the young man. He likes its versatility, pace of work and the way in which it has assumed and implemented the instructions of the coaching staff.
The report suggests that Pedri already feels at home at Barcelona and is not satisfied with just being in the first team and wants a lot more.
Koeman undoubtedly took time to praise Pedri and Ansu Fati after Barcelona’s victory on Sunday night at the Camp Nou.
“We must highlight the performance of Ansu. I am very happy with him. We know that he is only 17 years old and has things to improve. You have to find consistency and sometimes you lack concentration.
“It wasn’t that good against Elche but today it was. He had a great game. I am very happy with him and Pedri. They both have a great future. “
