Quick Credit and Investment Micro Credit Limited CEO Romeo Rich-love Seshie won the Banking and Finance category at the 2020 40 under 40 awards.

Romeo prior to his appointment as CEO was Deputy CEO of the company.

Under his leadership, he led a transition from branch offices to remotely operating branchless institutions across the country with a customer base of more than 50,000 and successfully employed more than 400 call center executives during the pandemic.

Speaking about his award, Romeo noted that “we have been in business for years, providing jobs to hundreds, livelihoods for mothers, lives impacted through our unsecured loan, we comply with the regulator and we continue to stand firm even in the midst of of the pandemic. This award is a sign of recognition for the effort invested and I feel special for it. “

He thanked his mentor and the Chairman of the Board of Quick Credit and Investment Micro Investment Limited, for their unwavering support. “To my Chairman of the Board, Mr. Richard Nii-Armah Quaye, who also won the investment category and the general; without a doubt, it is simply a pleasure to work under his feet. I am grateful for believing in me and guiding me.” he said.

“I dedicate this award to my hardworking staff, especially my field officers, for their dedication and selflessness. This is what has brought the company here. The greatest journey is ahead and we are ready,” he added.

Mr. Seshie is an astute Financial Management staff, motivated professional accountant, auditor, and financial analyst with over 10 years of experience.

He has played a key role in preparing senior management strategic plans, providing financial analysis and leadership designs, spearheading and implementing sound and balanced strategies while ensuring financial stability.
Romeo is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ghana (ICAG).

He holds a Master of Finance from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and a Bachelor of Accounting and Information Systems from Regent University College of Science and Technology.

He is a certified credit administrator from National Banking College, Accra, and also a certified administrator of tally accounting software from IPMC. Romeo is currently a finalist in the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana, and also a finalist in the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). UNITED KINGDOM. Romeo enrolled at the Central University of Ghana for an LLB in 2018. He went to Keta Business High School in Keta in the Volta Region.

The 40 under 40 Awards, held at the Kempinski Hotel over the weekend, aim to celebrate and honor the nation’s young business leaders under 40. Entrepreneurs, CEOs, co-founders and COOs are the main focus of these awards.
