Rev Sam Korankye Ankrah calls for peace and unity

Royalhouse Chapel International Founder and Apostle General Reverend Sam Korankye Ankrah has called for peace following the December 7 elections.

According to the man of God, whatever the outcome of the general elections, peace must prevail especially between the two main political parties, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (PNP).

He said the two leaders of the major parties must find common ground and resolve their misunderstanding regarding the results statement.

“I know that generally the one in the opposition calls the winner to congratulate him, but I am praying that the Lord will touch the heart of President Nana Akufo-Addo to call former President Mahama and say come and let us speak. I pray that this happens this week, ”he said.

The Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah also called for a unity government where members of the opposition would have a place in government.
“I want to encourage the president to consider granting some executive positions in his government to qualified NDC officials. We want to break the winner takes all the encouragement, ”he said.

He said he is the winner takes all the encouragement that causes the agitation and contention in the elections.
“We want to see a unity government so that we can lead this nation as a unit and develop the nation and serve God together,” he added.

He also called for peace to prevail in electoral districts where parliamentary results were in dispute.

The Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah was speaking to his congregation at the Thanksgiving service on December 13, where two members of his church were winners in the parliamentary elections.

Madame Rita Odoley Sowah won the parliamentary seat for the La Dadekopoton constituency and Mr. Teddy Nana Yaw Addi won the Ayensuanu constituency in the eastern region.

The Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah thanked God for their victory and charged them to serve the faith.
