Chelsea striker Callum Hudson-Odoi is pushing to leave the club before the current window closes.
Odoi has been left out of Chelsea’s starting team in his first two opening games of the season and with his future at the club looking bleak, a loan somewhere will do him good as he looks to increase his chances of making the England squad to Euro 2021..
The talkSPORT reports indicate that the 19-year-old who has slipped into the hierarchical order following the arrival of Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner wants a loan to Bayern Munich, as the Bundesliga giants have expressed interest in signing the player in the past.
However, he played the full 90 in Barnsley’s 6-0 loss at the Carabao Cup on Wednesday with coach Frank Lampard praising the player.
“I think he did well. It is not easy with just a few minutes, it is just like others in the same boat at the moment.
“I thought that in some parts it looked fresh and crisp. We talked about work ethic, which she showed very well in terms of getting the ball back for us, recovery runs, all the things that should be absolutely standard in her game.
“If you look at the best wingers in the Premier League and how they play. It showed lots of great moments. I was really satisfied with Callum, I thought he had a good night, ”said Lampard.
The player struggled last season, scoring just three goals in 33 appearances, and has played just ten minutes of Chelsea’s first two Premier League games this season.
