Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia has urged the people of the Banda community in the Bono region to consider their living conditions under the current New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration and compare them to the hardships they endured under the former NDC administration. , before deciding who to vote for. for in upcoming December polls.
He indicated that the lives of the Banda people have been greatly improved under the current PNP government, so they should give the party and President Nana Akufo-Addo four more years to continue.
Dr. Bawumia spoke in Banda during his 2-day tour of the Bono Region.
Addressing a meeting of community chiefs and people, the vice president assured the people about a new hospital for the district under the government’s 1district-1hospital project.
“We said we will bring in district hospitals, and God willing, our district hospital project 1 will include Banda, so everyone will benefit; then a new district hospital in Banda. “
The vice president visited Banda, Nsawkaw constituency in Tain constituency, and cut the grass for the construction of a 29-kilometer Sinohydro highway project at Sunyani Berlin Top in Sunyani West constituency.
“You can attest to the fact that, here, you have benefited from the PNP government, from three and a half to four years, we all know the benefits you have obtained.
“We have not said that we have finished all the work with a single period.
“We can’t finish everything, so give us 4 years to do more for you, to continue the work.”
In addition, he assured the people that all requests made to the government will be fulfilled during the second term of the PNP if they are maintained in the December elections.
“Every request from Nana to the Banda community, God willing, when we take over the reins of government after the elections, we will grant all requests.
“So if you look at your current state of life and see how NPP has performed, we have done better than the NDC.
“When it’s time to vote, remember the jobs NPP has done and the tough times NDC put you through and vote for Nana to keep up the good work,” added Dr. Bawumia.
