Real Madrid train and optimistic about Lucas Vázquez – Ghana football latest news, live scores, results

Real Madrid trained on Sunday morning in Valdebebas after their 4-1 win against Huesca on Saturday, which was made even sweeter after Barcelona’s 1-1 draw against Alavés that same day.

There will only be two workouts before Los Blancos’ vital Champions League game against Inter on Tuesday, and the focus is on Lucas Vázquez after he suffered a muscle problem against Huesca.

Despite this, Lucas has not been ruled out and there is moderate optimism that Zinedine Zidane’s improvised right-back could regain the job.

The situation in the right-back position is worrying, with Dani Carvajal and Nacho Fernández still far from recovering their respective injuries, while Álvaro Odriozola has barely passed a couple of training sessions after a blow of his own.

In Sunday’s session, the starters against Huesca worked inside the facilities. The rest of the group did some different exercises, which ended with shots on goal.

Nacho, Carvajal, Martín Odegaard and Odriozola did a combination of work in the gym and in the fields.
