Real Madrid’s squad list ahead of its Monday night game against Real Sociedad at the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium includes more first-team players than the latest rosters.
After weeks of recruiting youth players, Zinedine Zidane once again has some of his veteran players at his disposal.
Marcelo, Fede Valverde, Álvaro Odriozola and Rodrygo have been named in the squad and the only homegrown players left are Diego Altube, Víctor Chust, Sergio Arribas and Hugo Duro.
Valverde and Rodrygo are important for the winger, as they allow Zidane to play with his team to bring in new legs. Valverde has not appeared since January 20, while Rodrygo has been out since December 23.
Marcelo and Odriozola, for their part, give support to the team’s favorite starting full-backs, the latter’s return being especially timely given that Dani Carvajal is one of the players who is still out injured.
Also missing are Sergio Ramos, Eder Militao, Karim Benzema and Eden Hazard.
