Dortmund didn’t even have Reinier on the squad against Bayern Munich

Not only was Reinier not able to appear in the biggest game in the Hinrunde Bundesliga, but the Brazilian was not even on the roster. Dortmund manager Lucien Favre did not even name Reinier on his bench for the match.
Overreacting to a decision isn’t wise, but it’s telling that Favre didn’t even want Reinier as an option on the bench for Der Klassiker. It shows that the coach does not have much faith in Reinier, even though the talent and potential of the youngster are obvious. And with an average of 11 minutes per appearance as a substitute, how can Reinier prove himself to the coach whose own competence has been constantly questioned?
Real and Dortmund have a good relationship, but Los Blancos will not let any club waste the potential of a great player. Reinier needs minutes. If Favre is not going to value him accordingly, Real Madrid may have no choice but to renounce this loan. Surely, they can find another club in Germany or within Spain that gives Reinier more minutes on average in the league.
