The general public and supporters are now free to go to the Accra International Conference Center (AICC) to sign the book of condolences for the late former president, Jerry John Rawlings.

Members of the public wishing to visit the AICC must do so from 12 noon to 5 p.m. Thursday.

Additionally, on Friday, the general public will be allowed in from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., state protocol told GhanaWeb.

Those responsible for public institutions will also be present in the first hours of both days, to pay tribute to the late statesman.

The condolence book was placed at the AICC on Monday, where the judicial service, former presidents, president and members of parliament, the Council of State, among other dignitaries, wrote their message in memory of the most veteran leader of the country.

Religious leaders took their turn on Tuesday, November 17, 2020.

The book will be closed on Friday, November 20, 2020.

Jerry John Rawlings died at Korle-Bu University Hospital on November 12 after battling a brief illness.
