The meringues made a display of dominance in the second half to complete the 4-1 victory with additional goals from Benzema and Valverde.
Zinedine Zidane gave rest to some of his key players before an essential match against Inter Milan. Marcelo, Hazard and Luka Modric started in place of Ferland Mendy, Vinicius Junior and Toni Kroos.

Zinedine Zidane – 6/10
Zidane’s team struggled to create relevant chances until Eden Hazard’s brilliant moment. The performance of the first half will be a concern for the meringues coach.
His team’s cohesion and movement were much better in the second half as gaps were opened. Zidane was also able to give some of his key players a break before a vital Champions League match against Inter Milan.

Thibaut Courtois – 7/10
Courtois didn’t have much to do in the game. He made a couple of routine saves and looked good with the ball at his feet. The Belgian was calm and collected as he collected crosses as usual. He was not to blame for Huesca’s goal.
