The England striker packed a brace after stepping aside when he was 18 in a Europa League clash with Midtjylland in 2016
Marcus Rashford says nothing has compared to the scoring sensation on his Manchester United debut.
At 18, Rashford started a Europa League game at home in Midtjylland, reaching the starting XI as a late replacement for the injured Anthony Martial.
Rashford scored twice in the second half, his first United goal was an orderly finish after Juan Mata deftly slashed a center.
“You know, any other goal after that is not the same as that first goal,” Rashford told the United official website. “I was really grateful to have the opportunity to play for the club and to be able to score goals like my debut.”
Since then, Rashford has scored 64 goals in 201 appearances for United and 10 in 38 for England, with goals in his Premier League and international debuts as well. Now 22, he won the FA Cup, League League, and Europa League during his time at Old Trafford.
When asked to choose his favorite memories of his career so far, he replied: “Obviously there are some moments. I would say the FA Cup final, when we won it in 2016. That was one of the highlights, because it was the first trophy.
“Actually, I joined the campaign in the middle of the FA Cup, so it was nice. I started the season in the Youth Cup and ended it by winning the FA Cup. So it was a nice feeling.

“In terms of the way we play, especially the way we attack in the future. We tried to push the game forward, always be up front and we were causing them trouble for the 90 minutes.
“I think the way we win in the end – Anthony scored late – makes it a little bit better. But even if that game ended with a comfortable 3-0 for us, that would be my favorite game, just because of the way we play.
“It seemed like the goal was approaching, but then time also accelerated, but I think that, as a team, it never seemed that we were not going to score that winning goal.” We stayed patient and kept doing what we were doing, and Anthony had the opportunity and made it count. ”
