Two people do not suffer gunshot wounds near the Steps to Christ polling station in Kasoa for the Awutu Senya East constituency after some men in a black van fired at them.

Ghana Police Service Don Alao confirms the report and tweets, says;

“However, in Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East constituency, the police are pursuing the occupants of a black 4 × 4 SUV who shot the occupants of a silver-colored Kia private saloon car with registration No GW 2375- twenty …

“Dem don’t rush the occupants if they injure go to hospital and respond to treatment.”

“The police must investigate any allegations of wrongdoing they have received so far.”

It is unclear where the location caused the shooting incident.

Report says incidence of violence for the same center during the voter registration exercise.

One of the victims, that we would be a party agent for the NDC, told local Tori people, Citi News says she had a vehicle returning from the center with two people from the ode when they met some people inside a Toyota Landcruiser and asked about his whereabouts

The group then quickly opened fire on them, wounding two of them in the process, according to reports.
