The Premier League has begun preparing for football’s return by establishing an eye-catching roster for the televised games they hope to implement for the remainder of the season.

Project Restart expects the parties to resume on June 12 or 19, and television companies are preparing for the eventuality.

Friday Night Football is slated to be the top spot in the highly anticipated match that is likely to be Manchester United’s trip to Tottenham.

The remaining matches will be played on Saturday, Sunday and will conclude with Monday Night Football.

Sky Sports will air four of the games, including the clash on Friday night, with BT Sport showing another.

The other five are likely to become free to air, reports the Daily Mail, with YouTube as a potential platform.

The Premier League still has 92 games to complete before the season ends.

The accumulation of matches had led to the suggestion that a game could be televised per day, but it is understood that the authorities want an established system for when the games will be played.

All ten games are likely to have staggered start times.

Broadcasters have been massively hit by a lack of football and there is a great willingness on all sides for the games to return to television.

However, the usual configuration of television companies will have to be adapted taking into account social distancing measures.

Sky is still deciding whether its coverage would be better served in the stadium or in an off-site studio.

Much still rests in the current season with Liverpool not confirmed as champions, while the race for Europe is still underway as well as the battle to avoid the fall.
