The presidential candidate of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Ms Brigitte Dzogbenuku, has commissioned the people of the Volta region to vote en masse for her to bring change to the region.
“Your fate is in your hands and you have to determine how good or bad it will be in this year’s elections. Please choose wisely and vote for yours to make sure we bring development to this area. The PPP is yours and I am yours, ”he said.
A statement issued by the party’s communication director, Felix Mantey, said that Ms Dzogbenuku made the call last Saturday in celebration of the Lukusi Festival of the traditional Ve en Ve Deme area.
He said the PPP standard-bearer admonished the celebrant at the festival to be mindful of their personal and community development as the nation prepared for the December 7 elections.
Ms. Dzogbenuku, she said, was accompanied by her running mate, Mr. Kofi Asamoah-Siaw, and another national executive, as well as the Volta regional executive.
