Sony’s PlayStation Store has two simultaneous sales right now: a big sale in Japan, which celebrates games emanating from the Land of the Rising Sun, and a very welcome one Sale under $ 20. With much of the world locked up due to the novel coronavirus‘extended, it is a good time to take advantage of the double offers.

But there are plenty of discounted games right now, so where do you start?

Capcom

After an impressive reinvention in DmC 2013, the traditional Devil May Cry franchise returned with the acclaimed Devil May Cry 5. Last year, you played as Dante and Nero (which was featured in Devil May Cry 4 all the time) 2008), as well as a very mysterious guy named V. He is a classy action game that was loved by critics: He has a Metacritic rating of 88 and got a 9 from GameSpot, our sister site.

Devil May Cry 5 generally gets $ 50 on the PlayStation Store. The 50% discount agreement runs until May 9.

Capcom

The impressive aforementioned reinvention, DmC, is also for sale. It was originally released for CNET_FAM_SERIES: Sony PlayStation 3 | Score: 375

Ubisoft

Assassin’s Creed will soon follow the Vikings’ path, with AC: Valhalla announced for 2020. But Egypt is still worth diving into, as Assassin’s Creed Origins 2017 is on sale for just $ 15. It’s a visually spectacular game that you will get tens of hours.

Ubisoft

This 2018 video game takes place in a fictional region of Montana, and is clearly inspired by modern politics. But don’t let real-world headaches hold you back – it’s definitely primarily about giving yourself a great sandbox to explore, do spectacular missions, and most importantly, blow things up. Resident Evil 2 review: Terror for the modern era

Capcom

Speaking of comebacks, thank Capcom for nailing remakes of the PlayStation 4 (and for not making us wait 15 years, cough). In early April, Capcom released a remake for Resident Evil 3, which received rave reviews. But the new (old) game couldn’t beat CNET_FAM_SERIES: Resident Evil 2 | Score: 285

“data-slug =” “data-subtype =” “style =” font-size: 14px; “> The new version of Resident Evil 2 released last January, which received universal praise.

Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield’s escape from Raccoon City is $ 23 through May 9. Plus, you can buy the fabulous and hopefully next Resident Evil 4 for $ 8.

Square Enix

Final Fantasy 7 Remake launched on April 10, but it’s only the first part of the Final Fantasy 7 saga. It takes Cloud, Barrett, Tifa, Aerith, and Red XIII to the point where they leave Midgar. Despite being a 40 hour game, this entire section took around 4-7 hours in the original.

If you played 7 Remake, you’re wondering what’s next for the gang or you’re feeling nostalgic for places you haven’t seen remake yet. Either way, a discounted Final Fantasy 7 can scratch that itch.

Warner Bros.

Maybe you just want to relax wreaking havoc in the shadows. Hitman 2 is the 2016 sequel to Hitman, which was a revitalization of a PlayStation 2 series. They give you a target and, using your creativity, sneakily eliminate them. A classic formula, and it’s still exciting. Read GameSpot’s Hitman 2 review. They are $ 18 until May 14.
