Pearl Jam has announced that a lucky fan will have the opportunity to write their song list, as part of a new competition to support those who need food during the coronavirus outbreak.

Offered as part of the ALL-IN Challenge, the award will see a fan win a chance to see the band’s soundcheck before sitting down with Eddie Vedder to write their dream song list.

They will then have the opportunity to enjoy the best seats in the house for the first half of the show, before serving as Vedder’s personal guitar tech.

“For at least one song, I’d like to have you on stage right where I’m standing in the middle, or six feet away,” Vedder promised in a video for fans.

“But being there and listening to the sound of the stage and being surrounded by these great musicians at high volume. Even just standing in front of great drummer Matt Cameron, directly in front of him, is a real thrill. You will feel some vibrations that you may not have felt before. They are the ones I am lucky to feel all the time. “

If it’s not impressive enough, the award will conclude with the fan receiving a Fender Telecaster signed by the band.

Meanwhile, Vedder has kept fans entertained during the running of the bulls with a series of performances from home.

He recently shared a stripped down version of his song “Far Behind” for the Jack Johnson Kokua Festival, in addition to sharing a organ performance of “River Cross” for Lady Gaga’s COVID-19 charity concert ‘Together At Home’.

Pearl Jam released their eleventh album ‘Gigaton‘ in March of this year.
