Manchester United players will “poke fun” at Paul Pogba over the latest transfer speculation surrounding his future, according to former Liverpool striker Peter Crouch.
Pogba has been repeatedly linked to a departure from Old Trafford, with his agent, Mino Raiola, recently confirming that the French international wanted to leave the club.
Real Madrid and Juventus have been mentioned as possible destinations for the midfielder, but he remains a United player at least for now.
Crouch has addressed the problem in a question and answer column for the Daily Mail.

“I’ve heard from a lot of people … that Pogba is very well liked in the United team,” he said.
“I also heard that he has never been a problem in training and he continues to do his job, so I don’t expect there to be a problem with his teammates.
“In any case, I would say that they are going to take his ass out.
“Players don’t tend to notice someone’s agent speaking in the media. The problem would come if the player lowered his tools, began to treat other colleagues in a disrespectful way and did not arrive for training on time.
“If an individual crosses that line, it is a long way back.
“United players will not lose sleep over Mino Raiola’s comments, but the only thing that needs to happen to the club is that this situation is resolved. It’s a sideshow and a clean break would be best for everyone. “
Raiola said in an interview last week: “There is no point beating around the bush. It is better to speak clearly, look ahead and avoid wasting time searching for culprits.
“Paul is unhappy at Manchester United, he can’t express himself how he wants and how people expect him to.
“He needs to change teams, he needs a change of scenery.
“He has a contract that expires in a year and a half, in the summer of 2022, but the best solution for all parties is a transfer in the next window.
“Otherwise, the Old Trafford club, with whom I have a great relationship, knows well that it would risk losing him in a free transfer, since at the moment it is not the intention of the player to extend the contract.”
Speaking ahead of Saturday’s goalless draw with Manchester City, United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: “Paul is part of this team, he’s very focused on contributing when he’s here.
Manchester United played a draw with neighboring City in the first derby of the season on Saturday.
They will then travel through the Pennines to face Sheffield United, the last of the Premier League, on Thursday night. The Blades only have one point in their first 12 games, and three points will be imperative for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team if they want to stay in touch with the favorites.

“He is hungry, he wants to play. He wants to play, he wants to train.”
“There have been other players who have refused to train or play, they are no longer here, of course, but Paul hasn’t done it once. He only focuses on acting when he has the opportunity.
“That’s the good thing about Paul. He has the quality, but he also has the desire to do well when he comes in, like he did against Leipzig, it had a positive impact.”
