Popular Ghanaian musician Justice Amoah, widely known as Patapaa Amisty, has criticized Sarkodie and other winners of the Dr. Fordjour awards, claiming they come from the UN.
While speaking in conversation with Eugene Sarfo Nkansah, Patapaa indicated that awards are not taken in secret and that it takes humility to go for an award.
He said if you go through the back door to get a prize, they’ll give you a bottle.
Patapaa went on to claim that he had planned the awards plan with Dr. Kwame Owusu Fordjour.
He went on to add that Dr. UN’s costume was the same that he (Patapaa) wore at the VGMAs some years ago when he lost the award for the most popular song.
The One Corner singer later added that only greedy people received bottles at such awards ceremonies.
When asked if he would have qualified for such an award, Patapaa indicated that the award would not put food on his table.
Patapaa went on to say that there was no award coming from the UN and that the UN represented Western Union Bank.
Patapaa was in the Okay FM studios to respond to reports and news that went viral on social media about his recent health condition that saw him lying in a hospital bed.
