The ruling New Patriotic Party (PNP) said it fully understands the consequences of signing a contract, as it represents a solemn social contract between them and the electorate.

“In the 2016 elections, we made a commitment, among others, to help create a society of opportunity for all.

“We remain committed to our belief in democratic governance and private sector-led economic development, and we reiterate our firm stance as the party of rule of law, the party of business, the party that builds and creates wealth, and the party of social justice ”, affirmed the PNP in its Electoral Manifesto 2020.

The NPP 2020 Manifesto, entitled: “Servant Leadership: Protect Our Progress, Transform Ghana for All”, the party that sought to consolidate the important achievements made in office and set the stage for the next level of national development.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, who is seeking reelection in the December elections, stated that; “I believe in the programs that we have developed in our Manifesto, because they will keep the nation on the path of social and economic transformation that we have embarked on.

“In fact, they will lead to the transformation of Ghana for the benefit of all Ghanaians.

“We must, however, remind ourselves, at all times, that we are facing an opponent who is desperate to return to power to continue the agenda of mismanagement of the economy to the suffering and despair of businesses, households and families and, therefore, endangering the future of our children ”.

Nana Akufo-Addo noted: “We cannot allow that to happen. We cannot be complacent. We have to work hard to achieve victory, regardless of the fact that “one good term deserves another.”

The president, therefore, asked the PNP forces to “make sure that our message is heard loud and clear from Axim to Aflao and from Accra to Paga.

“Let’s go to every corner of the country and spread the story of our good news; inform young people about the possibilities that Free SHS will present them; Inform farmers about the Sow for Food and Employment program, which translates into better income levels for them.

“Let’s talk to entrepreneurs about reducing their tax burdens and improving the business climate, so that their businesses prosper and, in turn, create jobs.”

President Akufo-Addo emphasized that the December 2020 presidential elections represent possibly the clearest choice the people of Ghana have ever made.

“It bears repeating that 2020 is between the current president and the former president. It’s about leadership. It’s about integrity. It is about the performances of the two men: President Akufo-Addo and former President John Dramani Mahama when the people of Ghana gave them the opportunity to lead.

“It’s about comparing the records with the promises. It’s about which of the two leaders has shown in office that they know how to manage the economy. It’s about which of the two leaders you, the voter, can trust to deliver.

“It’s about which of the two men you can trust for the future of your children. It’s about which of the two leaders you know you can depend on in times of crisis.

“It is about which of the two leaders believes can implement the necessary measures to reactivate and strengthen the economy, companies and social services, and lift our country out of the coronavirus pandemic.

“It’s about which of the two leaders can implement a transformation program. We in the PNP have shown that, with the support of the people of Ghana, we are capable of overseeing the transformation of our economy and nation that all Ghanaians want. “

The presidential candidate for the 2020 NPP elections said: “I am confident that, together, everyone in Ghana, with the appropriate leadership, will be able to fulfill the dreams and aspirations of our forefathers, who began the fight for the liberation and independence of our nation. from colonial rule, and who envisioned Ghana as a united, democratic, prosperous and happy nation, the beacon of freedom and justice in Africa and the world.

“I am hopeful that the people of Ghana will grant the PNP another resounding victory in 2020. Four more years for Nana and the PNP to do more for you! The battle is still the Lord’s !!
