Doscar Group Holdings Chairman HRH Oscar Yao Doe has criticized entertainment celebrities Shatta Wale and Agya Koo for not acting as role models, receiving 2 million and 250,000 cedis respectively from the government to be appointed ambassadors for The Bank of Ghana Export and Import (GEXIM).

He described the deal as a bribe from the PNP-led administration.

The obviously livid businessman and philanthropist known for his massive support for entertainment celebrities, said the duo should have known more and shown love for the country by not accepting such unreasonable payments for doing nothing. He described them as’greedy celebrities‘dealing with a’Sakawa Presidency‘in a post on social media this morning. Read it below …

“Greedy celebrities and Sakawa presidency: It has emerged (that) Shatta Wale has received approximately 2 million Ghana Cedis (from) GhanaExim bank money taxpayers for doing nothing. Another 250 thousand Ghana Cedis (have) also been turned over to Agya Koo Also for doing nothing. Are they telling us (that) the PNP government appointed a consulting firm that appointed these two men as brand ambassadors for EximGhana? So the question is …

1. The Exim Ghana Bank was created by NDC John Mahama management with the purpose of helping Ghanaian exporters earn more foreign exchange. It means that the only obligation of the government is to support exports to generate more foreign exchange for Ghana. So why this nonsense?

2. Are we saying that exporting Ghanaian products to the outside world to help us earn more foreign exchange needs celebrity endorsements? Really? Strange! Does Ghana need brand ambassadors to export products? Jester! Strange situation! Abuse of public money left and right for selfish profit!

Finally: Shatta Wale and Agya Koo should have known each other better and acted as role models for the love of the country. Life should not always be an immediate personal gain. That approach cannot stand the test of time.

Both men owe an explanation to the Ghanaians. This is a bribe!

The Akufo Addo presidency is obviously the biggest scam to hit Ghana. Someone built for the future, and he (Nana Addo) is wasting them as if they were his family assets.
