OPay, the leading African financial services technology company, and Opera, the leading software and web browser company, have donated 100,000 medical masks to support the fight against the spread of Covid-19 in Ghana.
The presentation was made to the government through the Ministry of Health, in Accra on Wednesday. The event was attended by the Acting Chief Director of the Ministry of Health, Kwabena Boadu Oku-Afari.
Upon receiving the articles on behalf of the Minister, Mr. Boadu Oku-Afari, thanked Opay for the support and stated that now that they are about to settle in the Ghanaian market, he hopes the relationship will continue.

Fintech company OPay, which is incubated by Opera, recently announced a fund equivalent to $ 129,380.25 in Nigeria to provide medical supplies to frontline healthcare workers as well as relief support for the underprivileged during the pandemic of Covid-19.
