Paul Pogba will eventually leave Manchester United because they are not playing to his strengths according to Carlton Palmer.
The Frenchman is in his fifth season at Old Trafford having rejoined the club from the Juvenuts.
In the Italian champions he rose to fame playing for a highly successful team that played in a way that allowed Pogba to express himself fully.
But United fans have rarely seen the Frenchman recreate those levels since returning to Old Trafford in 2016.
The 27-year-old has been regularly criticized for his performances, but Palmer has a lot of sympathy for him.
He feels that the Red Devils don’t alter their style to suit Pogba, they can’t bemoan his inconsistency.

“I see him leaving United,” he told Football FanCast.
“Why was he successful at Juventus? Well, they played three in the back, five in the middle of the park, which allowed him to play a free role. Go and do what you have to do son. ”
“He’s a talented boy, but you can’t keep blaming Pogba if you don’t play with him and prepare the team in the right way to perform.”
“The [Solskjaer] I can’t keep blaming him, because that’s not his game. “
Pogba stayed on the bench for United’s final game, which was deemed a must-out after back-to-back losses.
Solskjaer has regularly defended the midfielder despite the player himself admitting that he would consider moving forward.
But former Red Devil Rio Ferdinand has suggested what Pogba’s omission may mean for the Frenchman.
“If I’m sitting there and I’m Paul Pogba, I’m going to say ‘I’m not in his best team, he needs to get a result, he’s under immense pressure today and I’m on the bench.’
“What does that say to people like Paul Pogba? That’s where, if I’m Pogba, I ask myself ‘where am I in your plans?
“I think for Ole the two forwards out of the back four are his insurance policy. The four forwards have to go and produce. Rashford, Bruno, creating opportunities and scoring goals is what he needs from them today.”
