Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Edinson Cavani suffered an injury during Manchester United’s 3-1 win over West Ham.
The Uruguayan came out to rescue United against Southampton last weekend, scoring two goals and assisting Bruno Fernandes.

But Cavani battled an aggressive West Ham team in the opening 45 minutes at London Stadium and was hooked at half-time.

Where it appears that Van de Beek’s withdrawal was tactical, Solskjaer has confirmed that Cavani was due to injury.
