Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has told Paul Pogba that his future lies at Old Trafford.
United risks losing the £ 89 million French World Cup winner for nothing if they don’t sell him this summer to Pogba’s controversial agent Mino Raiola, saying he will leave when his current contract ends next season.
But Solskjaer has told the 27-year-old star that he wants him to sign a new contract at Old Trafford.
“While at the club, Paul has always wanted the best for Manchester United,” says Solskjaer, “he has been a very important part of the team on and off the pitch.
“Paul is a player we want to see at Man United and play well. Just to get you back in shape for the last two months it will be important to us.
“We know that it can make the difference between many, many points or go through Europe like we did against AC Milan.
“The focus is now on finishing the season strong and Paul knows what my thoughts are.”
