The Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku, Dr. Bernard Okoe-Boye, visited the former President of Ghana, John Agyekum Kufuor, after losing his seat.
Announcing his visit to the former president in a Facebook post, Dr. Okoe-Boye said it was a wake-up experience considering the storm he went through at the hands of his constituents.
He said: “The awakening you experience when you have the opportunity to meet a Giant within weeks of riding through the storm. I thank HE JAK for the advice and the compliments. The impact of yesterday’s meeting will be with me ad infinitum. His grace is always sufficient ”.
The Democratic National Congress parliamentary candidate for the Ledzokuku constituency, Benjamin Ayiku Narteh, dethroned current Dr. Okoe Boye from the New Patriotic Party by a margin of 1,866 votes.
