Odion Ighalo says he wants to end the season with Manchester United.
Ighalo’s loan from the Chinese team in the Shanghai Shenhua Super League ends at the end of the month and the Nigerian striker says he wants to stay at Old Trafford.
Ighalo, 30, has scored four goals in his eight appearances for United and is eager to end the campaign with them before discussing a permanent deal.
“I would like to end the season if possible,” he said. “He was in good shape, in good shape, scoring goals and now we have stopped for over a month.
“I have done my best and I hope we will play again.”
