The Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai constituency branch of the New Patriotic Party (PNP) held a special exercise on Saturday, called “Walk for Peace and Unity.”
According to the organizers, the walk was aimed at promoting peaceful coexistence in the electoral district, before, during and after the next general elections.
Addressing the large crowd after the walk, the Western Regional Manager of the Micro-Finance and Small Loan Center (MASLOC), Mr. Daniel Kwasi Nyame, urged the electorate in the constituency and the wider Ghanaian society to appreciate the good works of President Akufo. -Addo and the PNP administration and vote massively for them in the December elections, to retain them in power and complete their good works.
He charged the people of the area (especially the youth) to strive to avoid acts of division and warmongering and to allow the path of peace and unity to achieve the necessary impact before, during and after the general elections.
The MASLOC manager also took the opportunity to encourage the youth of the constituency to take advantage of the PNP government’s Youth Empowerment Program to improve their lot.
The walk attracted NPP stalwarts in the western and north western regions, including Samuel Kofi Abiam, regional secretary, Ms. Golly Antwi, regional women’s organizer, Mr. Doe, regional youth organizer, as well as the Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng, PNP parliamentary candidate for the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Electoral District and many others.
