History seems to have repeated itself when President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo took first place on the ballot.

Unfortunately, the New Patriotic Party did not win the election despite the fact that it took first place on the ballot.

In other news, the first wife of the late Member of Parliament for Mfantseman’s constituency, Ophelia Quansah Hayford, has finally filed the nomination forms at the Elections Commission office.

She would be duly representing the ruling New Patriotic Party (PNP) as a parliamentary candidate in the upcoming December elections if she is given the go-ahead.

In a report presented by Peacefmonline.com, she urged party members and supporters to help her win the election to retain the party seat, as she cannot do the job alone.

However, she promised to do whatever she can to win the position and complete every development project to honor her late husband.
