Fredie Blay, national chair of the New Patriotic Party (PNP), has emphasized the need for party members to continue to work hard to keep the party in power.

He said that the party needed to stay in power for many years to help transform the country and work to improve people’s living conditions.

Speaking at the NPP Parliamentary Candidates (CP) exposition in the Ashanti region of Kumasi, he said that the NPP was the only party that had policies and programs aimed at transforming and lifting people out of their current socio-economic challenges.

He said that the introduction and implementation of various initiatives by the PNP government in its first term had put the country on the road to recovery and gradually contributed to transforming the lives of many people.

Therefore, it was important that all party militants and supporters step up their campaigns to sell the good works of the government to allow the people to vote to keep it in power to continue the transformation agenda.

Mr. Blay noted that the party needed about 95 percent of the vote in Ashanti and said the national leadership was working to provide all the necessary support for the region to achieve that goal.

He urged regional, district and electoral executives not to take things for granted and to be complacent with the achievements of the government in its first term, but to continue to work hard from house to house to sell the good message of the party to allow to achieve more. votes in the December elections.

Lord Commey, NPP deputy national campaign manager, said Ashanti was the heart of the party and that all members needed to work hard to keep the party in power.

“They have a position to hold,” he told party executives and parliamentary candidates, urging them to work with everyone to make sure the party wins the 2020 election.

Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako, NPP’s Ashanti regional chair, said the 47/47 agenda was on track to win all seats in the region for the NPP.
