Second Lady, Samira BawumiaSecond Lady, Samira Bawumia

The Second Lady, Samira Bawumia, has compared the achievements of the Akufo-Addo and Mahama administrations to “night and day”.

According to her, the gap, in terms of the achievements of both governments, is so great that comparing the two amounts to committing a serious sin.

Samira Bawumia called on Ghanaians not to take “good leadership” for granted, advocating that Ghanaians keep Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as president in the upcoming elections.

He stated that the only reason the country has come this far despite the impact of the coronavirus pandemic is because of the strong leadership provided by Nana Akufo-Addo.

He mentioned that while the previous government built a factory, the Akufo-Addo government, through the One-District-One-Factory initiative, built several factories across the country.

“It is not about rhetoric, it is about actions and the PNP government has demonstrated it with its actions. If we talk about industrialization, the previous government only a factory that we know from scratch and there was no sugar cane produced the sugar.

Today, we have more than 47 factories under the 1D1F. Another term and we are growing.

“So, if someone tells you that they are going to industrialize and they start with one without the raw material and in three and a half years we have seen what Akufo-Addo has done. It is night and day ”(Ms. Bawumia pointed out).

Samira Bawumia added that the PNP government has kept its promise to Ghanaians and deserves another four years.

“We have been serious with the Ghanaians and we have kept our promises. We have kept our promises to the people of Ghana and one good deed deserves another. We have been honest with the good people of Ghana. We have a vision and a comprehensive plan for the country, ”he said on Asaase radio.

On the party’s chances in the upcoming elections, Samira Bawumia predicted that the PNP was in (the) front seat but cannot afford to be complacent.

“I think we are going to win, but we have to work hard. We cannot be complacent, ”said the Second Lady.
