The Director of Political Affairs of the Office of the Chief of Staff, Mr. Frank Asiedu Bekoe known in political circles as Protozoa says that the numerous protests by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its supporters can continue all year long and will not change anything because the good people of Ghana voted and elected President Akufo-Addo to lead them.

According to him, Ghanaians voted and re-elected President Akufo-Addo for a second term because of the good works he did when he received the go-ahead four years ago.

Protozoa spoke in the Ayawaso West Wuogun constituency where she went on an appreciation tour to thank the voters for voting en masse for the incumbent MP, Ms. Lydia Seyram Alhassan, and President Akufo-Addo.

“Weeks ago, I was here to beg you to vote for President Akufo-Addo and Lydia Seyram Alhassan. You listened to them and voted massively for them, so I’m here to thank you all. We thank all Ghanaians for supporting the national phase-out plan. We are glad you chose free education over mortuary construction and legalization of Okada. Because you voted for Free SHS policy, you will see attorneys and physicians emerging from their families. God bless you all, ”Protozoa said.

In addition, he urged NDC protesters to conduct their protests in a civilized manner and advised them not to be violent or cause chaos in the exercise of their constitutional rights.

“Protesters can continue for 365 days but they must make sure they comply with the laws. The demonstrations are a good way to exercise to continue demonstrating, “he added.

Protozoa also promised voters that the PNP will do everything in its power to bring development to the electorate and the country as a whole.

“His endorsement of President Akufo-Addo for another four years means that he wants the president to continue with the good policies that he implemented in his first term like Free SHS, Planting for Food and Jobs, NABCO, etc. and that is what the president and the NPP will continue to do for all Ghanaians.

Since we are here to thank you, we want to assure you that we will continue with the development projects started in our first term ”- Protozoa reiterated.
