Neymar expressed his fury in an X-rated outburst after being one of five players sent off after a fight marred Paris-Saint Germain’s loss to Marseille.
The Brazilian superstar received his marching orders alongside his PSG teammates Layvin Kurzawa and Leandro Paredes, while Marseille pair Jordan Amavi and Dario Benedetto were also sent for an early shower.
Neymar was fired for attacking Álvaro González in close combat, which erupted in injury time during the 1-0 loss of the Ligue 1 champions.
When former Barcelona star Neymar was leaving the pitch at the Parc des Princes, he was seen telling the fourth official that he had been subjected to racism.
And he was clearly furious when he took to Twitter in the wake of the controversy.
Neymar’s tweet, which was published in his native Portuguese, was translated as: “My only regret is that I didn’t face this jerk.”
It is not clear at this time who allegedly made a comment.
Even before the fight, the match had already been a tumultuous affair, with 12 yellow cards dealt.
But it all started towards the end when Benedetto and Paredes started the fight, with stars from both sides rapidly piling up, and Kurzawa and Amavi exchanging blows.
After restoring peace and keeping the cards, PSG played the rest of the game with eight men on the field and Marseille nine.
When asked about Neymar’s claim after the match, Marseille manager Andre Villas-Boas could not confirm that he had heard anything, but said: “Racism is unacceptable in football.”
Marseille winger Florian Thuavin, who scored the only goal, struck out in the uproar and said: “A lot of kids were watching tonight, we all have to be examples.”
PSG sporting director Leonardo criticized the match official, Jerome Brisard, adding: “I don’t understand why for a match like this we don’t have Turpin or Bouquet.

“This referee has no experience, a Europa League game.”
All five players were sent off in injury time, but the match itself was a fiery affair with no fewer than 36 fouls committed.
A total of 12 yellow cards were also dealt.
Paris Saint-Germain, last year’s Champions League finalists, got off to a terrible start in Ligue 1 this season, losing their first two games.
On Thursday, the Ligue 1 champions were defeated 1-0 by Lens.
This Sunday he was defeated 1-0 again, having not scored in any of his first games for the first time since the 1978/79 season.
Villas-Boas was satisfied with his team’s victory and described it as: “A tough and important victory, as well as historic.
“We struggled to cope with the initial pressure from PSG because they are very good at it, but we found a way to achieve a great victory. It was not pleasant and we suffered.”
